It all started in 2003, when I got my first potbelly pig Burnie, RIP-2003-2019. I always had a love for pigs even before the potbelly pig came to the USA in 1985. I thank God every day for my NAPPA certified reputable breeder, Nancy Shepherd, for educating me before getting Burnie. They are not easy pets, but are very smart and easy to train. However, you have to be consistent; not all pigs like to do tricks, and they all need to be socialized!Burnie was very easy to train tricks and as he started learning, I went crazy giving him more to learn! This has become my life along with rescue since 2003!Lucas was born Jan. 15, 2019. He is a rescue, mixed breed of 3 different small breeds. He is very smart and has learned more tricks then Burnie because John Vincent of "Top Hogs" has been working with me on the correct way to train. This has been a challenge for me, but I love it and so does Lucas! John Vincent is a famous trainer and has been for over 30 years! I feel honored that he has taken the time to help me! I'm lucky to have professional people in my life to guide me! Thank you, Nancy Shepherd and John Vincent! These videos are all about socializing your pig and it’s a must for traveling, These are simple training tips for you! I hope they help!
